Vietnam economy is growing rapidly and entertainment activities are all around the big cities but nightlife is still limited. The only places open after 11pm are small street cafés, a few quite bars and in the tourist areas, the hotels and, of course, police stations. Apart from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and some other big cities, things start closing down at about eight o'clock
Night Clubs
Now there are only a few 'night clubs' in most of the big cities but they are usually variations of bars or discotheques. Most fall into two categories - 'Vietnamese' and 'Western'.
The 'Western-style' night clubs are more glitzy, more expensive (USD 6 per beer) and much louder. They have a bar and, sometimes, a group of bar girls who will entertain male customers but please be warned that all kinds of prostitution is illegal in Vietnam.
Massage
Massage centres are all around the cities but it falls into two kinds of massage - foot massage and body massage, you can find many foot massages in the city and this is a real relaxation. Body massage is considered sensitive between real massage and entertain massage, we recommend you to go to large-scale (big premises) for a safe and real massage. A cost about 6$/hour, but you should pay 5$ for tips.
Karaokes
Karaokes in Vietnam falls in style of small and private ones, songs also in English, French, Japanese and other languages, Vietnamese singing staffs also available. The cost counted per hour is about USD 10. Drinks, snacks.. at reasonable prices.
